After initially announcing, during the First Nations and Inuit Regional Forum in Gaspésie Îles de la Madeleine, that the 3rd edition would be held in the administrative region of Côte-Nord, the First Nations human resource development Commission of Quebec and Labrador (FNHRDCQ) recently announced that the 2024 edition of the Forum will now take place in the stunning administrative region of Outaouais. This change of location has been carefully considered, with the aim of ensuring the participation of a greater number of stakeholders from the visited region. As a result, the Forum originally planned for Côte-Nord will be postponed to a later date.
Outaouais will undoubtedly provide an inspiring setting for exchanges, discussions, and reflections on issues related to the integration and retention of Indigenous workforce. It will facilitate building relationships, promoting the achievements of First Nations, and enhancing the employability of Indigenous workers in this region.
Stay tuned, as more details will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
